Every Student Deserves
the Chance to Change the World
CTeen Changemakers is a free online communication academy offering classes in public speaking, debate, writing, leadership, and more to students in grades K–12 around the world. Based in Connecticut, we make these opportunities accessible to students who may never have had access to them before. We connect Connecticut students to in-person competitions, leadership conferences, and community service opportunities where they can put their skills into action. Through CTeen Changemakers, students are encouraged to explore their passions, develop and lead passion projects, serve their communities, and confidently speak up for the issues they care about.

Confidence shouldn't depend on what you have or where you are.
We believe every student deserves access to the communication skills, mentorship, and leadership opportunities that shape confident citizens — regardless of where they live or what resources they have. That is why we offer free classes in public speaking, debate, writing, and leadership, free events and competitions where students can put their skills into action, and free homework help — because confidence matters both inside and outside of school. When young people learn to speak, write, and advocate with confidence, they don't just succeed in school. They change their communities.

“As a newcomer to Debate II, Section 2, I am really fascinated by the way they teach and guide us throughout the lesson. I have observed that I have two magnanimous teachers who are genuine and knowledgeable. I admit that this class is definitely something I look forward to every week. Through their teachings, I feel like I am finding a passion within me because they really know what they are doing. With that in mind, I am always excited for this class and frankly speaking, I wish that classes were more than just one session a week. And I am not going to lie, I recently found out that I'm more fueled in debating compared to other classes I take in my real school because they do wonders. To conclude, although I am a newcomer, I am intrigued and captivated by the subject and the teachers because they are so kind and knowledgeable about the initiatives they conduct. This definitely aids and assists us underprivileged students, as we usually cannot access this type of quality class. Thank you!”
